Maria La Gorda is an international diving center, located in the Guanahacabibes Peninsula, which is part of a Biosphere Reserve, it is located in the south of Pinar del Río. Sport fishing, water sports and ecological tourism are practiced. It has 60 diving sites of great beauty, due to the quality of the coral reefs and its calm waters with great visibility.
You dive between 15 and 35 meters deep, where the continental slope begins.
Experienced divers highlight the descents through extensive vertical walls to the coral nests, the exploration of tunnels and caves, and the discoveries of remains of ancient Spanish galleons.
