Insurance and coverages:
All THE EXECUTOR cars are insured against total or partial theft of the vehicle, collision, overturning, catastrophes and damages to third parties. THE EXECUTOR does not offer insurance to its clients. To protect its customers from financial responsibility for damage to the vehicle, THE EXECUTOR offers coverage against damages. The customer must necessarily benefit from this coverage in order to rent the car or, failing that, leave a deposit in cash equivalent to the value of the car. This coverage can be acquired through the payment of daily rates that vary depending on the category of the vehicle and defined in the public prices of REX
Coverages against damages:
1.1.1 Total economic exemption for damages to the integrity of the vehicle (Super CDP + TP): Accepting the Super CDP, the customer is completely exempt from economic responsibility for damages caused to the vehicle. That is, this coverage is offered without deductible. In case of an accident in which the clauses established in the lease contract are not violated, the client will not pay the EXECUTOR the deductible or any additional payment.
The coverage does not cover loss or damage to accessories (brushes, antenna, rearview mirror, etc). These charges will be paid directly by the client.
The coverage is not valid for a driver who is not registered in the contract from the beginning of the rental.
2 In case of accident or theft, the customer must:
2.1 Immediately notify the nearest competent authority to the place of the act or contact, without additional charge, the services of the Security and Protection Company (SEPSA), available in Havana City, Santiago de Cuba, Holguín, Villa Clara and Varadero .
2.2 Notify THE EXECUTOR
2.3 Take the necessary safety measures with the vehicle avoiding additional damages.
2.4 Fill in the report of damage provided by an official of THE EXECUTOR.
3 The client will assume the total costs for the damages caused to the car in the following cases: 3.1 If the police report or SEPSA, establishes a violation of the clauses established in the lease signed by the client
3.2 Use of narcotics, alcohol or drugs that impede the full performance of the client or additional drivers duly registered in the rental agreement.
3.3 If the car is driven by someone not registered in the rental agreement.
3.4 In case you do not file a police report or SEPSA report, you have accepted any of the two coverages mentioned above.
