Hotel Camino de Hierro is located in Camagüey, in the eastern region of Cuba. Built at the end of the 18th century, it is located in the central Plaza de La Soledad, better known as Plaza del Gallo, in the sector of the city declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
It owes its name to the place where the main railway lines converged and it is a reminder of the importance that this means of transport had for the prosperity of Camagüey.
