Built in 1930, this hotel consists of an eight-story Spanish-style installation on a hill in front of the Malecon. This site formerly served as a landing place for pirates and during the English occupation of Havana, it served as a fort.
One of the most appealing spaces of the hotel, and favorite by visitors for its cozy atmosphere, is the terrace with comfortable Chesterfield sofas located under beautiful chandeliers on carved wooden ceiling. The garden and its unique aerial view of the Malecon will give you a beautiful memory.
You can also enjoy magnificent shows at the Cabaret Parisien and in the 1930 Hall dedicated to Compay Segundo who was one of the most notable figures of the Buena Vista Social Club.
Located between the central municipalities of Plaza de la Revolución and Old Havana, this hotel is also surrounded by many other clubs such as the Gato Tuerto bolero nightclub and the jazz club La Zorra y el Cuervo.
The property has 426 standard, classic and functional rooms. Although they are not very spacious, they are air-conditioned and well equipped with a private bathroom with hot and cold water and a hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone, safe, 110V / 60Hz voltage and minibar.
